Generator parts or rebuilders?

    The shop says my generator has armature problems and they can't get replacement parts. Anyone know where generator parts can be had or where my generator can be rebuilt?

    This is for a '49 CJ3A.

    I don't know where you are but locally I use Ropps auto electric in New Smyrna Beach, FL. They don't seem suprised by anything and can be inovative in making something work. Probably too far away for you but a phone call might find you a national parts source.
