I seem to have a knack for finding the wrong parts. Tuesday I found out it was the waterpump, fixed that last night with a new short one. With the short pump on and the pulleys installed I found my fan spacer is too short.

It's fine with a four bladed jeepster fan, but doesn't work with my shiny six bladed flex-o-lite. Can I/Should I run a 2" fan spacer and the new fan? Should I switch to the four bladed jeepster fan? Or should I look for a different stock fan?

The six bladed flex-o-lite fan is a decent fan, it will flatten out on high RPMs (which the go-devil and the hurricane engines won't see) and also in water, when crossing a stream. The only thing to look out for is how close to the radiator it gets, you don't want the fan to kiss the radiator.

Thanks, Mike. I ordered the 2" Red Anodized Spacer from Summit. About the same price as local despite the BS Summit handling charge and "Free" shipping.
