Quick question, where is the best/cheapest place I can get a Full Floating Conversion kit for my rear axle(dana 44). Also is there any other kits other than Warn? I'd like to compare prices but the only company I've found that makes the kit is Warn.

Warn is the only one I know of. They use what appears to be a D44 spindle and hub. I had thought it was a D30 spindle that was used, but D30 bearings don't fit. Do a search here and you can find some posts re: doing your own FF conversion.

Yeller - Mile Hi had some a few months ago... I was looking at them until I bought an axle with them already installed. You had better get them from whoever has them in stock. Getting them on order is getting dicy at best.

Remember - get the 30 spline so you can get any locker you want in the future.

check out Desert Rat Off Road in Phoenix, they may have one. I bought one there about a month ago. I searched the internet for some time and although they were listed on the site most said Warn was not making them anymore. In fact I contacted Warn and they confirmed that as correct. Desert Rat had one in their Tucson wharehouse. The "roll your own article here is a great one. My reccomendation would be to use a dual a matic type hub on the rear that way there is no way that inertia can spin the hub out of lock. JMHO Paul
