I have 2 dana 44's, #1 is a offset for a t-18, #2 is a center feed for the t-20. #1 has a posi unit and #2 has a standard carrier. Can I take the posi out and install it in #2 without mic'ing a bunch of stuff and having to go through alot of crap. I can't aford to take it to a shop, and I don't do gears well. this is my daily so I don't want a locker in the rear, I have one up front though and was told the posi would complement it.

unless you have the flanged axles, the spline counts are wrong. for the $$$$ needed for custom axle shafts, you could buy a new Powr-Lok.

Power-lock is the factory limited slip for that era - not a locker.
