windsheild rattle?

    Hello Folks
    I have a 1955 CJ 5
    Been restored but the windsheild has a rattle to it when I drive.
    I have put some weather striping under the frame to help with the loseness, but still have the wobble rattle.
    Any ideas?

    Have you installed a complete new cowl rubber strip?

    I had the same problem when I was driving around without a top on. I had to shim one side. For some reason I couldn't adjust it right. I just kept my bikini top on in the summer and that kept it tight. There is supposed to be a replacement assembly that replaces the snap type latch. However, someone will probably be able to shed some light. Oh and yes I had a new cowl strip.

    Yes I did put in a new rubber seal and there is no roll bar for that year so I don't have a bikini top or a top at all.
