1975 CJ-6. All lights worked fine and it was parked for some time. Lights starting acted up just before the engine was pulled and it sat some more. Now a 304 is in it and the lights are still acting up, but it runs good. Parking lights with no blinkers work fine..all on. With lights not on, left blinker works fine up front, but both rear taillights blink. With lights on, same, but much slower. Right blinker blinks both rear and fender only....grill is dark. With lights on, it blinks once or twice and stops blinking. Hazards work with out the front right. Headlights work fine, high and low. Things Ive checked. All bulbs with a volt meter.....even replaced some just in case. Dash switch for lights is not that old and seams to work fine. High n low floor switch seams to work fine. I took turn signal switch apart and it was all good. contacts good, nothing broken or loose. On the steering column, there is a silver box with a hot lead going in from the fuse box and two wires going out to the T S. switch. It clicks during blinking as it should. If you reverse the wires, you get hazards all the time when you tun on the lights. I've check grounds, wires, switches....HELP. I usally solve this kind of stuff. any one have the same symptions??? and what was it?

Sounds like ground problems. Clean all the ground connectors and the metal where the connectors go. Make sure you have good, tight metal to metal contact. See what that does for you before going any further.
