I have a 74 with a 304 to a 3 speed tranny, will the 151 4 popper bolt up to my bellhousing? If not what would I need?

258,232,196 rambler sixes going to have same pattern as 304 as well as the 343, 360,390 and 401 V8s. 151 gonna be a chevy pattern.

You'd probably be better off to look around for a 1980ish CJ with a 151, or a few years later with a 150. I'd prefer the 150.

The 196, 199 and 232 (pre 1971) Rambler sixes used a different bell pattern than the modern AMC 6s (71 and later 232, 4.0L and 258). In 1971, AMC went to the unified bell pattern between all their V8s and inline 6s, so they'll all interchange at the bellhousing. The I4's bell patterns are different.
