tigertop?

    anyone know the real differences between the tigertop and supertop for '83 cj7? all the websites that sell 'em seem to use bestop's description...which doesn't really explain. i posted before about a safari top i used to have for my wrangler and want to find a similar-functioning top for my cj. any help welcome! thanks.

    Tigertop = snaps/rollup windows.
    Supertop = clip/rail (snapless), zipout windows.

    so do both boast the ability to roll everything up to make it look like a safari top??

    Yes...but with the Supertop you can just zip the windows out instead (it's rolling up softop windows, IMHO, that kills them the quickest - any little dirt/dust is sandpaper in there).

    Here's my CJ6 Tigertop in Safari mode..

    thanks alot man, i appreciate it...i just got my 83 cj7 and it is in dire need of some serious upgrades...im gonna paint it olive drab (the flake paint job it has is a little too fruity for me) and get a top...lookin around on the internet it looks like a case of you get what you pay for (the supertop is more expensive). i just wanted to make sure i could make the supertop look the same as the tiger top (the website doesnt say explicitly)

    on another note, anybody know a site that has good deals on wheels and tires...im lookin for some deep dish wheels and 31-33 inch tires.
