rank that hardtop!

    i have a 80 cj5 and i have a line on a 80 cj5 parts jeep with a full acme fiberglass hardtop and doors (sliding glass)) i had an old acme top on my 79 cj5 in highschool.. it was a good old top!



    anyway i wanted to know everyones opinion of the acme glass top. in comparo.

    the acme top i would think woud be lighter than steel and well it cant rust..

    what about a myers
    kelly
    sears
    etc?
    i guess for one to fit a 80' my options are somewhat limited.




    i plan on doing a full restoration of the top over this winter.. i think it will be a fun project!


    ideas and threads/ webpages on restoration of hardtops would be great!

    Go with the Acme IMO, if you can find one that is.

    There was an Acme 1/2 cab on e-bay in MO that just ended. Didn't sell.

    Acme has never been very high on my list
    their fit left a lot to be desired in my opinion
