What to use to Dye fabric?

    I am getting myself shoulder belts for the front and rear of the bus, so the family will be nice and safe. Well the bad thing is they are gray in color. I will still use them, but i kind of want to change the color to black. what si the best dye to use to change color without the dye staining everything for years to come.

    VHT makes a good spray dye for fabric. Doesn't rub off..

    Personally, I would not use anything on seatbelts to change the color, dye and/or paint over time may change the way it performs, probably when you need it most! Paint and dye may degrade the fabric.
