Overdrive Question

    Hey all,

    I don't know anything about overdrives. What sort of value does a Warn overdrive is good condition bring? Maybe if I could get one my 45 mph 5.38's would seem like they were moving me a little faster on road runs. thanks

    The Warn/Saturn overdrive has a 25% overdrive, same as having a 0.75 top gear. 5.38 * 0.75 = 4.035 final drive ratio.

    Prices vary - probably $500 used private party would be a good deal, but it may not be easy to assess condition. Sometimes Herm has used ones: http://www.hermtheoverdriveguy.com/id21.htm
