What proportioning valve do i look for after i have the actual disc brake setup to swap onto my dana30? I know a 77+ will work but are there others that would work? maybe easier to find?

Not proportioing valve but a residual pressure valve, take it out of the mastercylinder and replace with a 2lb unit IIRC

If I remember right residual pressure valves are for MC mounted lower than the brakes, you have a firewall mounted one. I don't think you need one Steve. You can get a Wilwood adjustable proportioning valve from summit.

you really don't need a 2# one if the MC is above the calipers.

    Re: disk brake proportioning valve..

When I put the disk on my cj5 I had to take the check value out of the M C and on the front they worked. When I put them on the back I had to change the MC to a bigger one that moved more brake fluid. I tired a 2# check value and I bought a adjustable portioning value did not use it.

    My work great now.
