Would a T14 that was behind a 258 have the right length input shaft to use on a 225? I have the adapter, just looking at the transmission. Unfortunately I cant measure it cause it is out of state....

mehh... reading back through, the adapter for the t-14 that novak has listed won't work, but not necessarily the transmission. i still stand by reading they won't work, but haven't actually seen it in person.

Different input shaft, and bearing retainer too probably. You'd have to check the parts manuals for the bearing and retainer, but I expect you could convert to 225 style by changing a few parts.

JMO - find one nearby. They aren't that scarce, and you should be able to find one from a wreck, rust-out or conversion take-off.

Thanks, still looking for one to replace my rock ravaged one with. Most likley going to go with my T90 and its D18, I am accumulating all the bits for that conversion.
