swaping a 304 to a sb chevy

    I know this is an old subject for some of you but I was wondering what it takes to swap a 304 in a 72 cj5 with a t15 tranny to a chev 350? I'd love an auto but that seems like way to much work. Thanx.

    The TH350 will fit (with careful assembly), if that's what you want. You'll need to use the Chevy engine and transmission, and buy a kit to mate the TH350 to your Dana 20. Advance or Novak should have an adapter for the SBC to T-15, but it doesn't seem very sensible to swap one V8 for another.
