I have just realized (I think) that the hand wiper that Jeep used is the same as the Ford Model T wiper. If I am correct, then they are plentiful and easy to obtain. What do you think?

I ordered one today for the heck of it to see if it is right. Only $20 . . . stainless though. Guess I will have to paint it black. :( Probably won't even use it cuz its not "original". Bidding on an "original" also.

This is the one I bought. It is from Mac's Antique Auto Parts. What do you think?

Did you try Walck's, Beachwood Canvas or any of the other usual suspects to see if any of them have them?

There is nothing wrong with spilling a little beer as long as it lands in the Jeep. Jeeps need beer too every now and then.

Those JCW wipers don't look like repros of the originals.

Dondo, that wiper is pretty cool :) , but is not like the original. :( I am only seeking original style parts. This section of the forum tries to stick to original restorations. Don't mean to be a wet blanket. Sorry.

Looks like the one I am buying is too short? :? Thanks for the pic. Guess I will see for sure when I get it. I will take measurements also. Found that the 3b site has info on them and says that the Model T wiper is not correct. I will verify and inform. Live and learn I guess.

Try Peter DeBella, CeeJay. He's probably got some new ones still in the original boxes, if anybody has them. Might also try a guy called The Jeepster Man, he also has a lot of NOS parts IIRC.

I'd recommend calling these guys on the phone, rather than emailing them.

Rondog, I pretty much try Pete first when I am looking for any part! He "says" he doesn't have any. He is also out of the "office" for a while. Thanks for the jeepster man info. CJ

Ooops, sorry about the JCW link. I hit the "New Posts" button and clicked on this thread....didn't think about it being in the Restoration section.....and by the time I got my post put together, it seems I had already forgot what this thing was about....

    Hehe....sorry.. :)

I have received bad product from Northstar. They sent me some NOS wiper blade from who knows what. I will wait for Pete. Thanks for the info.

They all sell the same product from the same manufacturer. Must have been a bad run.
