I did a search to the archives on this topic and found a thread on the subject... but it looks like it's all related to a different engine to me.

Does any one have a diagram or a picture of correct hose routing on the F134 hurricane :hurrican: ? with or without heater. :?

    :hurrican:

    Thanks

    Jim

One hose goes from the water pump fitting on the passenger side to the heater, other hose goes from top of head in the back to the other fitting on the heater.

What Glenn said. My 61 was this way until I gave up on the heater after it gave up on me. We don't speak anymore.

So... can you plug all of the ports on the engine if you don't have a heater installed?

    Any one have pics?

My camera is broke otherwise I'd post my set up for critique!

yes, you can plug the ports if no heater
I would keep the 90* bypass hose.

The fitting on the rear of the head usually had a valve to shut off the water flow to the heater in the summer, didn't it?

Mine does have a valve to close it off on the rear passenger side of the engine (top). So that's what it's for!R)
