need pic of the transfer case e brake cable

    hey im trying to figure how to mount the cable for the transfer case e-brake and i cant figure how to keep it taught. i see the place where its supposed to go but it doesnt stay tight, show me what yours looks like, give me an idea

    Here you go, not much on where the handle mounts but hopefully it will help.
    BTW I have a pretty trick disk brake set up and I used a Chevy Blazer foot pedal. Much more leverage with a foot than by hand. I tried the hand pull but it would not hold.

    ha thats funny, the handle i bought for my cj5 was actually a jeepster one. i thought somone just welded that metal extension on but its a really factory jeepster part, sweet.

    yea i still cant figure out how it attaches to the crosmember by that pic

    I could never figure out how it went through the cross member either. I think there have been a few posts on this subject and a pic of how it is supposed to go. I could never get mine to work so I went with the disc set up.

    Have you tried doing a search? I recall asking the same question and got a few pics that made sense. They may still be in the archives. Rotsa ruck! :beer:
