cj and yj springs

    i am just doing SOA to my 77 cj 5 for that 4 1/2 to 5"
    and i understand that i can use my old spring,s but yj springs are better to use?? why is this?
    i also hear they are just a little taller....is that true. will they work like i read

    They are usually softer for a better ride. They are also wider and more stable. If I was doing a SOA, I would definately use YJ springs.

    Ya I hear yj springs are better but I used 2.5 rancho springs on soa. I love the way it works and rides, but if you are going to go through all the work of changing shackles, spring hangers and such, I would do a shackle reversal while its apart, that will help your road control and bump steer.

    X2 on the shackle reversal while you are changing the spring hangers.
