Alright, I've been waiting on brake parts for about a week now, so I've started wondering about some of the other parts of my jeep (I try not to do that) Well, I have two questions that I have been curious about for a while, but now its just getting worse...

    First.
The front bummper on the CJ is made for a winch of some sort, However, It bolts in and reels out of the front. Here's a couple of pics

does anyone know what kind of winch bolts up to this? All the ones I've seen bolt facing the ground. Although I like this way better so that I'm pulling straight on the frame rather than at a 90* angle.

    Second.

I'm running 33's so I'm fairly certain my cj has a lift of some sort. Here's the front

What's not stock? I don't have a stock cj to compare to. So I was wondering if some of the gurus could point out whats been done to my suspension.

    Thanks in advance :)

hmm, maybe I should have picked up my garage before bringing the camera in...

That winch mount ought to hold a Warn 8274......
Front springs look fairly stock (flat) to me.....

I didn't think 33's would work with stock springs. Granted. I can only turn my wheel about 3 rotations from stop to stop.
I'll look up the winch, Thanks

They look stock to me. If anything 1inch lift that has sagged back to stock.

 ... I just looked up the price on a Warn 8274, no wonder the PO unbolted it and sold it... Its a little bit too much for my budget. I guess I'm not planning on doing anything serious anytime soon anyways :(

Ask Thad (Old Bill). He made a neat modification for his that might work for the winch setup.

you can clock some (warn and ramsey) electric winches to fit your mounting plate.

That's true.... The (for instance) Warn M8000 will mount on a vertical plane...
