    What I have. A barn fresh titled 1967 cj5 4cyl running jeep.
Left fender cracked fiberglass, right fender steel with dimple and hole for turn signal, Tub is 1970ish, has rear side marker light holes, high mount tail lights, bulge where oilbath aircleaner should mount-meaning body is for a V6. Some rust here and there, repairable but.............
For all the hassles of cutting and welding and ordering and fitting and then fixing hat channels and straightening and filling and...etc.

I am the type I would rather goto work for a couple of days make the money and be able to keep the skin on my knuckles and invective for the road and when done still love the little 4x4.
Towhit........ it looks like Omixada is the only supplier for fresh steel bodies. Is this true?
One vender touts exactifit (?), something about prefitting and drilling all the panels and mountings etc it seems that at omix close enough is good enough (?).
Has anyone here done this, rebody with steel? where did you source the new body? how was the fit? what were the pitfalls?

I am trying to bring it back to fairly close to original. No lift, no fiberglass, just a nice example of a fairly original CJ5. As I get the mechanicals sorted out the (I enjoy the smell of 90w gear oil) the cosmetics are the largest and most daunting , for me, to consider.
Yeah I should have bought a good example to begin with, the wife got this orphan off epay. Good examples are hard to find around the salty midwest.
    Thanks Bob
