opened the box's and got a little confused.
    Here are some pictures:

Now, in the first picture, it shows the pressed in bushings on both ends of the new springs. I see how the pinon bolt will work, but the new threaded "C" shackles won't fit with the pressed bushings in the springs. Not sure what to do here. Different shackles? Pop out the bushings? I dunno.

Picture 2 shows shackles and an assortment of u-bolts. Why do I have 3 different sizes? 4 of one size, 3 of one size and a huge one that doesn't fit anything. I didn't order new u-bolt plates (on the underside of the springs) as I thought I could use my old ones. Should I just use my old u-bolts as well?

Picture 3 and 4 are of my front and rear shackles. That little bar, should I replace those or do you think it's okay to use the old ones? Of course, this is after I figure out how the "C" shackles work with the new Superlift springs. What other parts would you guys order?

You do need 3 different size u-bolts. The larger one actually goes around the differential housing on the front, not just the axle. The 4 the same size should be for the rear axle. Providing they are the correct bolts you'll see the difference when you start the work. To use the C shackles you'll have to take the bushings out of the springs. What did you do about the pivot bolts? I don't know why those little plates are there, as far as I know you don't need them.

Well, the big u-bolt won't fit the under spring plates though. At least it doesn't match any of the bolts that are on there now. I haven't done anything with the pivot bolts. Should I order new ones from 4wd?

Dondo, in this pic of my D30 install a few years back, you can see that the big ubolt goes over the edge of the diff housing on the left. At that time I re-used the D27 spring/ubolt plates. The ubolt you have may need squeezed a bit to fit back into the plate, but not drastically if it's the correct one.

EDIT: Durn it... Someone copied my D30 pics as .tif files instead of .jpg... I have to see if I can have them converted...
EDIT 2: OK, Frank gave me advice in the OT forum on how to convert those files, lets see if it worked:

For the pivot bolts you'll have to determine what you have now and get with 4wd. You probably have the larger diameter greasable ones and will need the appropriate bushing in the spring. Probably bronze. Another thing is you might have 1/2" od on the new u-bolts and 7/16" on the older ones. If so just enlarge the holes in the plates.
