    I am finally startin my project!!!(1963 Willy cj5)The wiring is all chewed up and disconnected and i am wondering if anyone has a Wiring diagram they could share with me!!!The serial # is 57348 and was wondering if anyone could help me on my drive line identity and any other info that you know i can use!!! Its been a while but now its time to get it going!! Thanks in advance

    I bought a Hayes jeep book and in the back there's a wirring diagram for your jeep. It helped me.:rofl:

    Thanks for that info Old Bill but the serial # reads 57348 so maybe i don't really have a 1963 after all????????

    It would really be pretty neat if your serial number was actually 57548 ( by jeep serial numbering sequence).

    It should begin with 57548 no matter what, and be followed by five or six digits.

    So, the coolest serial number would be 57548 57548. There was one, I think it was in the 1957 model year.

    I was thinking of a picture of the serial number plate. But someone here should be able to give some idea of what you have with those pics. Just a guess, but someone may have put a later model windshield on an earlier body.

    Looks like a '67-'68 with the blinkers and the windshield.
