Tank Top Hard Top

    I recently picked up a "tank top" fiberglass hardtop for my 59 cj-5 and it doesn't fit with the windshield that is on there. My first question is if there are different windshields for 5s and if so if I can put a different widshield on mine. The problem is that the windshield on there is square on top and doesn't slope back enough.

    Sounds to me like it is a top for a late 5. they had a different windshield that had more of backward slope then the early 5s. IIRC you can put a late model windshield frame on an early 5
