Do factory emblems go here?

    On my 69 there are two small holes on each side of the hood right behind the hood latches about four inces apart. They dont look like someone just drilled them in so I am wondering if there were any factory badges that went here. From all the pictures I've seen I couldn't find anything that went there, except on the Jeepsters where it said "Jeepster". Just curious to see, if there were any I'd like to replace them.

    Yep, reflectors. Big ugly hunks of plastic :rofl:
    Since I run a hood with those holes on my '71, and already have front markers on the fenders, I didn't want the reflectors. I took them off, got 4 steel footman loops cut them apart, and welded them together to get two "long" footman loops so that the holes match the holes in the hood. Ground them, painted them, installed them. Looks factory... I get alot of "what are they for??" R)

    Hmm, I was thinking of keeping the hood off the '69 but wondered what to do witht he holes. Now I know. The hood on the '71 is fiberglass. Not that I mind it but I can't put the WS down.

    Thanks for the info. I have never seen any jeeps with reflectors there, something new everyday.
