    Ok guys this may or may not seem like a stupid question but hey they always say there is no such thing as a stupid question. As some of you have seen in my photos I need tires for my cj5, well a buddy of mine gave me( yes gave me) a set of 35" buckshots for my dodge they have about half tread left on them so i think im going to use them and i think im going to take the 33" bfg a/t's off my dodge and put them on the jeep but the problem lies in the rims, I have 15's on the cj and the tires are 16's, I have a pretty good source of factory rims and what I need to know is what factory rims will fit the jeep, I have been told that ford and dodge will fit it but what i need to know is are there certain years I need to be looking for and are there others companies that have used the same bolt pattern as the jeep. If this gets to expensive I still have a set of 15 inch steelies which I have a set of 31" bfg m/t's waiting to be mounted on them that im going to hopefully pick up this weekend and then I have nothing to worry about anyway but I am of the train of thought that bigger is better and I have some big plans for this old jeep in the not to distant future and these tires just fell in my lap, anyway thanks for all the help ahead of time.

    97 Dodge Ram 1500 4wd rims are the same bolt pattern 5-5.5 and are 16"
    however, the center hole is too small to fit over the wheel hubs
    someone here was going to try and open those holes;
    don't know if he did or not

    I tried to use some 16" dodge rims that someone gave me. turned the center out to 4 1/4 but backspacing is to deep rubbed badly. Too bad they're available and cheep. Now if you were to put a set of scout 44's they'd be about right.;)

    If that Jeep in your avatar is what you're gonna put them on. There never gonna fit without rubbing, nowhere near enough lift.
