I just ordered my new brake drums from advance auto (online) for $35.95 ea. They are raybestos # 2307dgs. And free shipping on orders of $50.00 or more. You have to order them from the online websight for some reason the stores dont offer raybestos drums. They also had all the hardware springs etc.

Are the substitute drums from the same manufacture? If so, does the different price reflect quality?

Anyways, great timing I just removed the studs from my rear drums tonight. Thanks for the tip.

Yes, same manufacturer better quality the ones I origanally ordered were the economy drums they gave me the better ones at no extra charge. If you place an order with them online make sure you check the box for automatic substitutiion.

Can you post a pic of the drums and fit test a stock 15" rim for us?

I fit-tested a finned 11" drum to my Renegade Aluminum slots yesterday and they fit, no problem.
They definitely FILL the wheel compared to my old 10" drums!! :)
