Another header question.

    I'm getting ready to order up some new headers. I noticed in a recent Quadratec catalog that the hedman headers now have a "ball-style" collectors that eliminate the old style collector. Sort of a built in header buddy that Lynn recommends.

    Has anybody used these? I checked out the p/n at summit since they sell Hedmans for less and free shipping, but the show the old style headers.

    The ball mounts are the cat's *ss Joel, if that is available direct from Hedman, that's the route I'd go. Have to tried to call Summit and see if they'd pull a set to check it out for you?

    I bought a set from Summit a couple of months back and they have the ball & socket collectors. I haven't installed them yet so I don't know how well they work.

    I got them too. I have not put mufflers on them yet, but they are just like the one Lynn described.
