Industrial f-head

    Has anyone heard of an industrial F-head I found one that has very low hours and that is hooked to a sprayer I'll try to get pictures on wed.

    I've seen very Jeep-like motors in trailer-mounted industrial air compressors.

    I'm tring to get a photo of the engine and the serial tag it says kaiser and the start of the # is I F-4

    A friend of mine picked one up to repower his '58 CJ-5. He did have to swap out the front motor mount plate as it was not correct for the CJ application. It did have very low hours on it and runs like a champ. Not sure about the flywheel, he didn't mention anything about that. HTH

    Without comparing the specs, I don't see any differences. It does not address motor mounts. I can scan the specs pages and post them if you'd like.

    If you have time that would be great. I'm still tring to get pics but I might have to wait till it gets to the house hopefully in the next week or so. I'm on the towns playground and recreation committee and extra time is limited with all the outside spring sports starting.

    Didn't some of these engines have a sidedraft or updraft carb? Just the ticket for an F head swap into a flat fender
