little bit of a warning for the l-head guys

    evidently if you guys are rebuilding the l-head engine you need to pay really close attention to the bearings going back in. the oil passages between the connecting rods and bearings don't line up on some of the bearings out on the market. it might seem like a stupid mistake to make, but i did it once and it was caught the second time (engine knocked at higher rpm... from lack of oil pressure. hmm). seems as though one of the suppliers is producing bearings that won't quite perform up to par.
