Questions for Jeep Perkins owners, all 4 of you.
Just picked up a Perkins 4-192 with t-90/model18 set up from a cj6. Going to drop it into one of my 3Bs if I cant find a decent cj5/6 .

My questions are: Where do you source your oil and fuel filters? Brand and Part No. would be great.

Hard parts: starter/water pump/lift pump; Local Cat dealer or have you found a good online source especially if its on the west coast.Part # of any of the hard would be great.

Trying to do some homework before I walk into my local Cat Dealer and leave with one less arm & leg.

To get Perkins parts go to the nearest Massey Ferguson dealer. These are basically the same motor that are common in these tractors.

I would not be surprised, CAT bought Perkins for their small engine expertise.

I was hoping to get some feedback from Dieselcj!

The bellhousing is unique so you will need to source it with the engine. The engine did come with a standard t-90 and I do plan to put in a t-98 behind it. Should be an interesting combo!
