steering box line thread size

    Talking about power steering boxes here. Are most line threads 5/8x18 and 1/2x20? Just wondering how hard it will be to get hoses to fit both a pump and a box that are from different applications. Anyone played with these before remember?

    Another question, will the bracketry and pump from a buick 350 bolt on to a 225?

    I don't know about off the shelf items, but any hydraulic hose shop can fab up a set to fit whatever you have. Probably won't cost anymore than OTS.:v6:

    I have the 350 stuff on one of my 225s, including the timing cover. Everything looks the same (except the degree marks).
