while getting my radiator recored, i am getting around to installing my HEI OF dist. it looks like i will have to re-route the two metal fuel lines that go across the intake manifold as well as the hose from the pump to the carb.
i have the PS pump on the driver's side front and a lot less room than i thought:rofl:
    any ideas?

will the stainless braided hose hold up well instead of rebending tube?
anyone have any pictures of how they routed the fuel lines from the firewall to the fuel pump on the front of the v6?

i figure i want to avoid anywhere near the exhaust:rofl: and protect it from trail "stuff" underneath.

Steve here is a photo of mine. While I don't have HEI, I have it more than far enough away to account for the HEI.

Mine looks roughly like Mcruff's but I have HEI. It runs behind the distributor.

I can get a pic in the AM for ya.

thanks you two. my ps is mounted higher but i think i can drill a hole through some of the "bracing" and move it to the side? if i do it that way i'll put rubber grommet around the edge of the hole to protect the lines.

after looking at mike's engine, i think i'll have to clean mine up "a bit" someday. man, mike, i forgot what a nice job you did on it.

btw sparky, i like the new image upload manager! much nicer.

(jeeze, i drop outta sight for a few months and y'all change everything! even the "unknown quantity, on a good path, etc. icon under the posts :) i also like the drop down vehicle descriptions! )
