Gonna rebuild the tranny and tcase finally. I would have ordered them from Herm, but I placed an order from him on December 9, 2005 for a remote res for the master cylinder and still don't have it. Funny, I paid for it 3 months ago

So I am looking for another source for these parts. Any help would be appreciated.

    TIA

IIRC Herm sells the Novak intermediate shaft kit. They sell rebuild kits for both the D18 and T90, but you'll likely spend more through Novak. R&P might be another source.

Talk to Eric, "the boss" at Novak. And remind him to check in here occasionally (he has a '68 ) :)

I've gotten my parts from 4wd hardware and Krage. Haven't really compared prices since I didn't buy a whole rebuild kit, but got parts from both and they seem to be good.

1st vote is Paul and Rich at R&P 4WD...

    2nd would be Krage Motorsports....

I had a similar problem with Herm a while back. I found out giving him a phone call works to get things going. I think he doesn't spend much time on a computer during the day (if any), and forgets about the emails he receives. I know many of us have grown accustomed to using email as our primary communication mechanism, but with some of the old timers, the phone still works magic ;)

I would try Walck's. He's had everything I needed. Nice to work with also.

I just replaced my T98 with a T18. Work was done by Sierra Transmission Supply. Bill Monahan is a wealth of knowledge. He's Parts Mike's brother.

Dang I wish you weren't 3 hours away, I just started disconnecting mine tonite. Think I already found my leak, well one of them. Isn't there supposed to be a gasket on the shift tower? I was all set to order from Herm as soon as I got it out and apart. Now not too sure. Oh well good luck and keep posting, maybe we can get answers from each others ?'s. Todd

Herm more than took care of me. I would not hesitate to order from him again, but I would do it all over the phone. And don't be afraid to call and remind him. If you haven't got what you ordered in ~2 weeks, start calling.

I just got off the phone with Herm. You forget just how nice the guy is until you talk to him. Anyway, he was very appologetic and is shipping my res out today. There is still hope...

Sounds like the same that happened with me.....I had been waiting long enough that I was a little frustrated, but 2 minutes on the phone with him and I felt like I was talking to Mr. Rogers and forgot I was even worked up.

I think he is a great guy to business with.....over the phone
