Replacing input shaft on t-18

    I'm going to embark on replacing the input shaft on a t-18.

    I was reading on one site and it appeared that the main shaft had to be removed, or at least partially removed, the bearing knocked out the front of the case and the input shaft removed.

    Reverse the procedure to assemble.

    Anyone ever done this before, and is all that really necessary just to replace the shaft??

    Yep, it's true both bearings removed,bring the main up out the hole and then the input,just done it.
