thats a nice carb vanguard listed....but the holley 470 truck avenger with the offenhauser dual port 4bbl is supposed to rip some tail in both mileage and low end torque. it has great anglular displacement without stalling out too. it deppends on the ammount of $$ you have and what you are trying to achieve. the 2100 will prolly pull good mileage aswell, so its all what you want i guess. the offy/470 runs like a 235 cfm on 'roids untill you open the rear barrels.
    just giving you options.

Dunno what Holley is currently on SSDutch, but it's crap offroad. Starves for fuel on hills.

Mike, if it is the 390 cfm 4bbl, there is a plastic "whistle" thing you can install in the front float bowl. That along with a very slightly lowered float level and a homemade vent tube like the truck avenger made mine perform really well, it was crappy out of the box.

Yup - Holley 390 = crap out of the box... a few mods and it works pretty darn good.

If you want, I'll pull my list together and post it for you.

No, it's some 2bbl thing that's soon gonna get replaced by all the original FI stuff that came on this 4.3...

FI, oh yeah! On my 83(mostly....welll.....not anymore) CJ7, the top mods ever would be a battle between FI, T18, and lockers.

Besides the main - air fuel mix stuff. I changed the following:
Needle and Seat – Off Road #6-513
    Dropped Float level

    Black Secondary Spring
    Vent Baffle 26-40

    Jets are a 51's (a bit big)
Forgot to write down power valve...

To get much more you need center hung bowls... I am looking into the TA 470 (0-90470) but it costs an arm and a leg right now, and I have 4 390s.
