hey guys , first time posting but visit the site often. my question is: i have an 81 cj5 with 32's on it rite now and was wondering if a 2" shackle lift was worth putting on for a better stance or should i just do a susp. lift instead? any input would be greatly helpful. again great site guys. will post pics soon.:flag:

To lift the Jeep 2" with shackles they would have to be about 4" longer than stock.... It will be very unstable, and wander terribly....

I wouldn't go more than 0.5 inch lift shackles (1 inch over stock)

I don't like shackels either. If the law ever finds out about them they would outlaw them and unfortunately probably just about every other suspenstion lift to boot. To me a shackel lift would be like showing up at the Sturgis motorcycle rally on a moped, you be the judge from here.

BDS costs more but lifetime warranty. I have Superlift 2.5" that I acquired from a part-out project but were new. No complaints
