225 odd-fire HEI troubles, Help!

    Is that the correct vac. advance? All three of my HEI's have the nipple for the vac. hose facing up. I didn't know they made them sticking straight out for the V6. Of coarse mine are odd-fire engines. Maybe even-fires are different.

    They can have both types of vacumn advance I bought one from Autozone it had the straight type when I ordered a replacement from Napa it had the the other type with nipple sticking up I guess it depends on what they have laying around.
