    1. Yes, that's been capped. I think that went to a vacuum port on a vacuum type fuel pump.

    2. That's the PCV valve.

    3. Not sure what that's called, but it's basically where the crankcase vents into the PCV valve. It's mounted on the cover for the exhaust valve galley, under one of the cover hold-down bolts. The valve cover on top of the engine is for the intake valves.

Thanks Rondog for the information. As for my previous question regarding the fuel pump w/vaccum, this information will help me to decide if I need to change the fuel pump a no vaccum pump.

I couldn't find your previous question regarding fuel pump with vacuum. However, if you do not have vacuum wipers (electric wiper upgrade) than get the fuel pump without the ports and plump the pcv directly to the port just below the carb. Plenty of info and threads on here if you search. If you still have a problem e-mail/PM me and I will try to help.

This is a good link. Your line will go from the PCV routed around the block to the base of the carb. The first pic has a t fitting coming off the port. The line on the left is the line from the PCV and the line going to the right is a vacuum hose going into the cab for the operation of the vacuum heater switch. If you do not have the switch then hook your line to the port. I bought my brass adapters at NAPA. I also used a small brake line and bended it to fit around the front of the block.
