When did the wheel bolt pattern change?

    I'm sure one of you out there knows. Was it with the first Wrangler that the wheel lug bolt pattern was change from 5 on 5.5? I'm assuming all CJs, even all CJ7s take the 5 of 5.5? Thanks.

    Yes, the first Wrangler, 1988 (or late '87) went to the 5 on 4.5 pattern...

    I thought so, but I didn't know what the first year was for the Wrangler.

    1987, 1986 was the last year for the CJ-7.
