Pertronix and spark plug gap?

    Gettin ready to put a pertronix ignition and flame thrower coil in my F134. Any one know the gap for j8c spark plug for this type of setup?:)

    I'm still running the stock gap with no issues. Keep in mind that the Pertronix doesn't make your stock spark any stronger, it only triggers it more accurately. Now, when I get the MSD hooked up, I'm prolly goingto open up the plugs a bit...

    What Steve said.... Although with the Flame Thrower coil, you might could open it up some, but keep in mind those plugs are meant for a certain gap range, and if you open them up too far, the ground electrode will no longer be parallel with the center electrode... YMMV...

    I did open mine to .040 with no adverse effects.
