1/4" wheel spacer? 31 x 10.50

    I know this has been beat to death, but can't find it in archives. 62 cj5, stock 15 x 8 steel wheel (4 1/2" backset). 31 x 10.50's. Rubs slightly in front. Tire dealer is telling me 1/4" spacer will fix. Will it and does it fix the rub. Thanks.

    Rubs the spring or the fender? If it's the spring, you can adjust the stops, or ignore it.

    thanks tim. it's rubbing on the fender? sandblasting and repainting. just picky on rub mark in wheel well. bart

    1/4" ain't much........ If that will cure your rub, you're not going to fub much..
