V6 Clutch Fork Boot

I'm restoring a 1971 V6/CJ5. I need the rubber boot that goes around the clutch fork in the stock bell housing to seal out the dirt and debris.

Does anyone know where I can get one. Some are putting the 1972 and later ones in place but these don't fit the way the originals do. They don't fit around the clutck fork properly.

Any help would be appreciated.

I just went to Napa. They had it on one of the rotating displays. Not sure but it may have been one of the later ones you referred to as it seemed to stick out far enough to hit the cable. Works ok.

 

Do you have a part number for this?

 

I would also like the part number only one I could find was for a 72 and up.

 

I don't have the P/N anymore, but when I called Krage's to order my clutch kit he gave it to me over the phone. HTH.

 

I will call and see what they have to say.

There was a member here a year or more ago selling them on ebay....was it Maxx?

 

This one fits the opening in my 1971 V6 bell housing, but I had to modify the opening for the clutch fork. It isn't a complete seal, but it is the only one I could find to fit the 1971.
