T14 to d18

In the middle of my own tranny t case issues, Buddy is putting his back to gether and aske me a question I don't know the answer to.

He removed a T86 and is putting in a T14. both were complete trannys with the input gears already on them. Is there any diffrence in the gear or can you just unbolt the T86 and bolt up the T14.

I looked at the gears and they look the same on the OD, but I did not know if they came in diffrent pitch or anything.

the t-14 has a 10 spline output shaft. need the output gear that came with it.

Looks like you'll need a 947382 drive gear. What you already have should be right if the T-14 was from a V6 application.
