My jeep has the stock split bench which I find most uncomfortable.

In reviewing my options I come to Mastercraft seats. $$$$$ in comparison to other obvious choices. Are they worth the extra jack for an occasional user that jeeps the moderate trails?

They also seem to be somewhat of a fitted contoured seat. Will someone with a somewhat larger than average frame find them comfortable or would it be like 10# of schmidt in a 5# bag?

I just got my PRP seats installed and they are GREAT. Worth every penny. They had a option for a 2" wider seat. I wear a size 36 jean and the seats are just the right size. My buddy came over and wears prob a 40 and it was SUPER tight on him. But I think the wider seat would fit him well.

    Jason,
What model of PRP seats did you get? Is there plenty of room between for a console?:v6:

I've got some Beard super seats and they are nice, very light. However, not being adjustable does have its drawbacks. Really I just need to stretch the jeep so I can reposition them in a more reclined position. I am 5'8" and wear a size 30, they fit me perfectly. I would assume you'd want the bigger size however(more $$$ I'm sure). They are not the easiest to get out of in a lifted cj5 with small door openings either. They are high quality seats and I'd buy'em again if I had too. Food for thought.

Here is a pic. Why? Because every thread needs a pic.

They were the premier low backs. I'll snap some pics of them tommorrow. There should be enough space inbetween them for some sort of console..

    Heres some pics..

There is only 5" of space in between them for a console. So a smaller ammo can might work...

It looks like that one not sure if its the same.. Here it is on their site..Almost all the way down, the premier low backs. I ordered them trough a local shop for 169 each and shipping was another 40 to me.

yep thats where I saw it. Look comfortable. How are they after a day of wheelin? know yet?
For a console, I have one of those Tuffy lockable. I beleive it's something like 5" x 12" . It was from a Samuria but fits between the seats in my Jeep real one. Might find one used.
