6v or 12v

    my jeep is 6v now. i think i want a 12v so i can run a CB, have a 12v outlet for a cell, spot light, wench and such. my question is what do i have to do to make it 12v the RIGHT WAY. thanks josh

    need to change all the bulbs and starter. don't know about gauges thou....

    generator, voltage regulator, ign coil, bulbs, etc....
    starter would be okay, just don't let it crank away for long periods
    gauges...well you could do a volt-a-drop for them if necc
