Can a person paint the top of the frame and the bottom of the tub w/o completely removing the tub? I am replacing the body mounts and thought maybe this would be possible. Any thoughts?:v6:

    David,
Did you just loosen all bolts and lift one side at a time?:v6:

yes, took bolts out and replaced IIRC
<edit> this was back before products like Por15 or rust encapsulators were available or I knew about them. I sprayed the top of the frame and the bottom of the body with Extend(rust killer) then sprayed paintable rubberized undercoating then painted it.

I've done the rear, above where I was putting in the rear gas tank. A combination of brush on and spray on Hammerite worked well. I mostly brushed then spot-painted with the spray where I couldn't get the brush.

It'll be easier after the body mounts as well, since you'll have a bit more of a gap between body and frame.
