found cj6A serial number 10450 - sad shape

I found cj6a 8422 10450 (tuxedo cj6 450 of 459).

It is poor shape rotting in a junkyard in Indiana.

It was originally owned by a police department in Michigan and then made its way to the junk yard.

It was a V-6, but engine and trans are gone. Interestingly it had the recess for a column shift in the dashboard.

I suppose in the last few tuxedos jeep tried to use up any unique spare parts (dashboards) in the production line.

That is, unless the police department ordered a V-6 with a column shift......
