Pulling pinion shaft rear cup?

    I don’t own a bearing/cup puller and was wondering how best to remove? (D25)

    If the pinion is out then use a steel rod and drive it out from the other side of the housing.

    Hammer and brass punch is the only way I know of.

    Yep , pull the carrier out if it isn't already and the pinion then you can drive the bearing cup out with brass rod as mentioned...

    Thanks for the info guys just finished removing the oil seals, bearings and cups.
