    Hello again all!

I have embarked on a little project here and was wondering if anyone had a pic or three of an F-Head with the Weber Progressive carb. installed?
I have the carb. (one I had laying in the garage for years that I just rebuilt), the adapter (Ebay) and choke (uses original manual, it's just backward in operation now) installed but need some pics of the throttle linkage arrangement primarily.
I attached a pic of the carb. (before connecting the choke).
It starts and runs NICELY. :)

Thanks for the help and Happy Holidays!!!

Hate to bring up an old thread, but would like to get your perspective on your upgrade and any pics you may have. I am thinking/researching this upgrade for my JEEP.

    TIA

    Hi Kevin,

I must have forgotten to delete this thread.
I ended up going with a new Solex replacement carb..
    It has performed flawlessly.
Does it improve performance? I doubt it.
But it does have an excellent choke, it's easy to set and was a direct bolt-on.
Is a progressive worth the money?
    Personally? I don't think so.
I'd say you should do the whole enchilada if you're going to do the carb..
    i.e. Carb., header, exhaust, ignition.
But when you do and pay for all of that, you may as well start looking for a V6 to swap in.
    Just my 2 cents. :)

    Best of luck!

I am using the progressive on an air-cooled VW engine.
Those carbs are used on a shocking number of engines.
VW's work nicely with 'em.

Best of luck on your project!
