Divorced Dana 18?

    This arcticle states "For those with longer wheelbases or strange drivetrains(ME!:rofl: ), an adapter is available from Advance Adapters to turn the 18 into a divorced transfer case." Yet I cannot for the life of me find no mention of it on their website.:? Has this kit been discontinued? Anyone here have any experience with it?

    i know it is/was available for a dana 20, so i see not reason why it wouldnt be the same adapter. there is a guy in florida with a 20 with the divorce kit, i am ponding picking it up for use in the commando.

    one of the products available years ago, popular for converting import pickup to 4wd. I have looked also and not been able to ind it and wondered the same thing.

    Divorced xfer case = longer driveline. That might be a little tough in an M38A1, since the rear driveshaft is already pretty short.

    That's what I was afraid of. Although there are some guys out the running divorced t'cases in Samurais(!!!). No biggie, just another avenue that I was briefly exploring.

    Back to having to have a custom adapter made.
